In Smart Plus mode, the welding control with touch screen display automatically detects the type and thickness of the sheet to be welded via sensors located in the gun. This feature facilitates the operator's work, as the software automatically sets certain welding parameters, ensuring optimum weld quality without having to rely on special skills.

This system is especially suitable for HSS, as it will be widely used in future car manufacturing.Through the particularly user-friendly display with touch screen, one can choose between manual, automatic or specific programs of car manufacturers. A USB flash memory can be used to upload new welding programs or send the results of the welding process to a PC for evaluation.

The welding gun with inverter technology and built-in transformer completes the system.

This combination of both technologies allows the efficient unit to deliver 14,000 A of power using only a 32 A fuse. This low energy consumption represents the solution to all the problems of body shops with low mains supply.At the same time, however, this technology delivers top quality welding results, as the transformer provides the current required for perfect welding, as demanded by car manufacturers. Faults are detected and compensated for where possible. If a welding procedure cannot be carried out, appropriate information about quality assurance is displayed.

Automatic detection of the connected tool as well as the material type and thickness are among the main features of the welding system.

The welding gun integrated in the transformer allows connection to the welding system via an industrial plug, and various quick connectors ensure easy replacement without tools or screws.

The water-cooled "C" gun ensures a constant high electrode force, despite the different arm lengths up to 635 mm. The flexible and light 4000 mm connection cable between gun and unit allows a large action area and good handling without strong magnetic fields.Welding tool, transformer, arms and electrodes are completely water cooled via a closed cooling system housed on the equipment cart.
