The T series is a powerhouse in TIG welding. It is an all-rounder and at home everywhere: in the food or chemical industry, in pipeline, machine or metal construction as well as in the trades. Its low weight makes it particularly suitable for mobile use on construction sites and for service jobs or hard-to-reach repair welds.

Despite its compact housing, it also offers a high level of functional diversity. Thanks to high-end technology, perfect HF ignition and powerful fast pulsing in the thin sheet area, the T series convinces with optimal welding performance. With the integrated cooling unit connection for the WUK cooling unit, you can weld with it even more comfortably - and at higher outputs.

Perfect aluminum welding thanks to AC version

Aluminum TIG welding requires alternating current (AC). Since aluminum is a very good heat conductor, every millimeter of material thickness requires additional current. Material thicknesses of far more than 8 mm are no problem for the T 220 welders. In addition, the current shape in AC mode is optimized for maximum stability, very good cleaning effect of the aluminum oxide skin and reduced noise. The integrated automatic dome control also ensures perfect arc shaping.

Enhanced welding quality thanks to MACS

The additional special Lorch MACS (ModulatedACSystem) process increases the welding quality through targeted heat input. Especially when joining different material thicknesses, MACS ensures outstanding results.

Longevity

The special coating of the electronics, the integrated air duct and the oversizing of the power components ensure optimum dust protection and a long service life.

Weighing barely more than 13 kg, the T 220 is perfectly equipped for mobile use. The special crash protection secures the housing in the event of falls of up to 60 cm. The standard protective cover of the control panel and the integrated dust filter guarantee robustness and durability - even in rough assembly applications.

Assembly mobility

The T 220 is so compact that it fits together with your TIG equipment in the optional assembly trolley. Safely stowed away, you simply pull the equipment, including cables, tools, helmet and glove, behind you in the case.

Pulsing and fast pulsing up to 2 kHz

The integrated pulse and fast pulse function up to 2 kHz is particularly well suited for processing thin welding sheets. It enables outstanding weld pool control and guarantees you perfect results - even for difficult welding tasks.
