  • The Tecna TE700 is a particularly versatile welding controller as it can be adapted to different types of welders; it can be installed not only on spot and projection welding machines, but also on seam welding machines. Moreover, it can operate with constant current, fixed, constant power, constant voltage, and account energy settings, as well as in dynamic mode.

The number of inputs and outputs can be increased to better adapt the welding control to automatic machines.

The control unit can manage up to 4 different welding transformers.

It is possible to store up to 300 different welding programs. Each program can be given an alphanumeric identifier so that it can be easily located. Each program consists of several programmable parameters describing the working cycle. In addition to the simple 4-step welding cycle, the control unit allows the execution of welding processes with pre-welding current, post-welding current, pitch and pulses.

    • Simplified programming via 6 keys and an alphanumeric LCD display with backlight.

    • Inverter control with IGBT at medium level, allowing to select the working frequency of the inverter between 1000 Hz and 4000 Hz.

    • Storage of 300 welding programs.

    • Each welding program can be assigned an 8-digit alphanumeric identifier.

    • Possibility of managing up to 4 different welding transformers or up to 4 different types of electrodes by the same control unit.

    • Thermal protection for the welding transformer.

    • Up to 32 programmable parameters for each program.

    • Slope, pulses, pre-weld and post-weld functions and setting of welding times with 1 ms resolution.

    • Display of RMS welding current, energy, power, RMS electrode voltage, initial and final resistance, percentage thermal load of the machine and, optionally, initial thickness of the welded material and impression at the end of the welding process.

    • 6 modes of operation: FIX, constant current, constant power, constant voltage, constant energy, DYNAMIC mode.

    • Limits for: Welding current, electrode voltage, energy, power, percentage use of the inverter, initial and final resistance of the material to be welded; limit value for thickness and material indentation (optional).

    • Double stroke function

    • Stepper function to compensate the wear of the electrodes with programmable curve, according to differentiated stepper aspects regardless of welding time and welding current.Possibility of 4 stepper presets and 4 different welding spot counters, freely assignable to each welding program.

    • Single and automatic cycle. WELD and NO-WELD function.

    • Control of 5 solenoid valves 24 VDC max. 5 W with self-protected output.

    • Self-regulation at mains frequency 50/60 Hz.

    • Serial data transmission through optional isolated RS232 interface.

    • Output for proportional solenoid valve.

    • Button for selection of foot or two-hand operation.

    • Selectable languages: Italian, English, French, German, Spanish, Hungarian, Swedish or Portuguese.

    • Possibility to update the firmware of the control unit through appropriate software.

    • Activation and control of the electrode dressing. Possibility to manage up to 4 different simultaneous electrode dressings through 4 different point counters (optional).
